For
those wanting a good base to tour Lower Normandy, you can't go far wrong
than to stop here
Normandy Beach Jack Wrote: Met a few biker friends and stayed there for a couple of nights in 2004 before setting off to Paris and Prague. Great accomodation and host, nice friendly little bar just round the corner and within 'spitting distance' of the town and restaurants Anyone wanting first rate b&b in Arromanches could do worse than contact this guy, Adrian Scott - Cox at www.normandybeach.co.uk He has a converted farmhouse & barn etc. in the centre of the town, owns a 650 triumph and a ww2 armoured car and does the best breakfasts in Normandy. He also speaks perfect French which was a big help when my Blackbird needed help last year, he couldn't do enough to help. This place really is that bit different, we usually stay longer than planned June 2006 |

Nice
B&B near Boulogne and Calais. Stayed their on our last night in
May trip, 2006 . Nice place, massive room. English couple (Steve is
a Londoner, Jackie a Northerner), very hospitable and pleasant. Steve
is a biker (has a 10 year old Yamaha TRX). Sheltered accommodation for
bikes. Short drive to Boulogne and Calais. Meeshy and I mentioned IXXRA
and they were happy to be recommended and always welcome bikers. One
night b&b for both of us cost 48 Euros www.longhousefrance.co.uk |

http://www.mayenne-bandb-tours.com/ “The ultimate English Touring Bed and Breakfast” Come and spend some time in our lovely bed and breakfast. The house is situated near a small village called La Brulatte, 15 minutes from Laval, 40 minutes from Rennes; Paris is 2 hours and an hour to Le Mans. Ferry ports are St Malo 74 miles and Cherbourg 130 miles. Very easy to find and a good starting point for the day’s trip. Easy to explore all that the Mayenne, Normandy and Brittany can offer. Like the Normandy landings, Mont St Michel or the rugged pink granite coast of northern Brittany, using either country lanes, national roads or the fast motorways. What about a day or two in the fast lane of Le Mans or shopping in Paris, the train station is only 3 miles away at Port Brillet. We have 3 double/twin rooms, 2 family room and more beds and cots if required. We like to think ourselves as a good base for touring holidays. Mountain bikes are also available for hire. We are very biker friendly with a BMW R1150RT parked in the garage. We have enough space for another ten bikes under cover, and a drying room for wet clothes. Large indoor heated swimming pool, 36’ x 18’ and nearly 10’ deep. Heated to a constant 28°c, which is wonderful to dive into after an enjoyable ride or drive. Prices start at 50 euros per room with 2 sharing which includes Continental breakfast, or start your day with a Full English breakfast for 6 euros extra. Special prices for groups. Mike & Molly Gates www.mayenne-bandb-tours.com We give a group discount of 10% for 3 rooms for more than 3 nights of room prices. we have a uk number (skype) to contact here 020-787-05787 |

Thewishingwellguesthouse.com/ We are members of IXXRA, who will be opening a motorcycle guest house in the Limousin area of France, offering B & B plus guided tours of the region (opening date 1st April 2006). We were wondering if you would be prepared to have a link on your site for our guest house and of course we are more than happy to have you linked on ours. Please advise if any further information is required? Kind Regards Riccardo Biguzzi & Karen ShingletonRiccardo wrote: As a biker of 20 years who spent more time in europe than england and got fed up with the norm. so i'm putting my international touring experience with italian and french catering experience to some good use and hopefully to help everyone else enjoy the benefits of touring, with peace of mind (i know this sounds like a advertising piece) but like everyone else i like to ride my bike as much as possible, on roads to die for, in nice climate, good food and visit something more than the local bike meeting place. mind you thats not to say idon't miss all our friends at Box hill or Bury hill or the brilliant breakie at Ogre's cafe. still it gives me a good reason to come back once in a while. the main thing is Ride Ride Ride and smile away |
