One of the first things
that most folk purchase for their Blackbird is a hugger, apart from looking
pretty cool, they also deflect a hell of a lot of road muck away from
the monoshock, undertail and rear sub frame and save quite literally hours
of scrubbing and cleaning. Cheers Giles Gizzit responds... Pyramid dude. They ARE the very best Taz writes... I've got a Red Fox and had it painted in Superior Sexy Silver like my Superior Sexy Silver and it looks fookin smart - wish I'd bought it before I got winter crap all over the rear shocker though I can't comment on the Pyramid cuz I ain't got one, but I'm happy enough with the Red Fox - and you get an IXXRA discount Reefers views... Make sure you get one that totaly covers the chain on the rear sprocket..my first plastic one stopped short which meant the chain lube would flick off the top back of the sprocket and attach itself quiet nicely to the side of the tail piece under the pillion Iain's point is... Pyramid carbon for me, looks the nuts in my honest opinion Numb bits says... Red fox for me too in carbon, and i aint had any probs with it, very happy Giles response.... Great, thanks all. Got the black glass fibre Pyramid one. Looks great and seems to work great too (no oil flick and no crud on the shock) Again you've got to remember these are XX riders personal views and there's a hell of a lot of choice out there in respect of Huggers.....here's what I mean.... |
