Wobbs (one of our own crew members) doing the Ring in style! How much of that rear tyre is touching?
The Nurburgring

The Nurburgring nestles within the beautiful Eifel region of Western Germany, and has a long, long history of motorsport associated with it. The whole atmosphere of the area surrounding the ring is power and speed, and is one experience that everyone interested in motorsports should achieve within their lifetime.
Yep it's that squigly line drawing you see attached to the "Ringers" mode of transport - it says I've been there.....yipeee! And you've gotta try it!

The Nurburgring is now a modern race circuit, however it's father the Nürburgring Nordschleife (or Northern Loop), still exists. Its 13 miles of challenging tarmac lie ahead of you, with its sweeping curves, variable surfaces, dramatic climbs and drops, and a back straight over a mile long (ever topped a blackbird out before?). It isn't perfect, and has been claimed as one of the most dangerous race circuits in the world. It has few or no run off areas at all, this is one of the reasons that it was abandoned for the newly constructed, Nurburgring. So what did they do with the old one? They turned it into a public circuit that you can ride or drive, until you're blue in the face, or broke, which ever comes first.

There's only one Nurburgring, and its truly infectious.

But don't think when you go to the Nurburgring that that's all there is there. You'd be severely mistaken, it lies in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany. You are surrounded by the most heavenly riding country, that climbs around mountains and through the wine producing valleys. Heavens, your right on the Mosel Valley, wind your way down the Mosel, enjoy the wine tasting, the excellent fare and the scenery

Fancy it? Well this page has been put together to tempt you further
